First - I'm an NRA pistol instructor. I have several rifles but this is my first AR. I tell people I buy reliable and inexpensive first, so then when I decide to upgrade I can tell you exactly what needs to be different and why. Thus far I started with flip-up sights which is obvious since the rifle did not come with sights. I also added a rubber combat butt pad. The standard butt is uncomfortable if you are a marksman. After Getting it sighted in I added a 2.5-10x40 scope. These additions cost me $94 in total.
At 25yrs I easily shoot 4' targets. I have not taken it out to the 100yrd range yet, but that's coming soon.
I will probably add a bipod to the front and I may replace the trigger, There is a bit of a gritty feel to the trigger. Not sure if that is normal for mil-spec triggers but it's not as smooth as my other rifles.
The attached Picture is what my RF-15 looks like now.
I'm an NRA Pistol Instructor Looking to get Certified as a rifle instructor as well. This is my first AR-15. I allowed my AR Fanboy friends to try it out, they saw it as a GREAT first AR. I added a cushion to the buttstock, a set of quality flip-up sights, and a good scope. I have only got 200 rounds of live ammo, and about 1000 trigger pulls with my Mantis Blackbeard. Thus far, no issues at all!
The only criticism I have is the mil-spec trigger. It feels like a mill spec trigger. I may replace it with one that is lighter and smoother.
10 round through smooth no flaws , finish could have been a little cleaner some bare spots and a small scratch. Quality wise Nice looking bolt, reciever, barrel.
Looking forward to a range session, very soon!!
The rifle came very quickly. Very well put together and for it being a "budget" AR platform, its right up there with most $1000+ rifles. Having the MLOK just adds to the appeal. The ONLY complaint I have right now is the factory metal magazine looks horrible and feels very cheap BUT it does work and function as it should. Just swap it with some Pmags and makes it perfect. Already put about 90 rounds through with no issues. It looks, feels and functions great. Thank you guys again
I like the rifle , it works as it should , was built solidly , and has ease of maintenance . I will buy again from gunprime , I am extremely satisfied, thank you again .
I was skeptical at first being that the price was so low, but you know what they always say “ can never judge a book by its cover”. This was a great buy, this is my first AR and I’m already having the time of my life. I would recommend.
I was a little worried when I was researching Radical Firearms but I read into them a bit and apparently I’m recent years, their quality control has gotten a lot better.
I decided to give them a try and I wasn’t disappointed at all with my purchase. I’ve shot 165 rounds through this firearm so far and the rifle has yet to have a malfunction. It runs really well and is easy to service and maintain. I’ve already added some modifications and upgrades, all of which were pretty easy to upgrade. I had some concerns about the stock magazine failing but it runs extremely well.
All in all, very pleased with my purchase. On top of the great firearm, Gunprime shipped my firearm with lightning speed. I received my firearm at my FFL in 2 days flat.
All in all a great experience and I’ll be happy to do more business with Gunprime again soon, as well as Radical Firearms.
This was my first AR purchase… once I sighted the weapon… no problems. Cycled 4 magazines with different brands of ammo no issues!
Love the product , worth the money!! Well Made! just bought it a few weeks ago.
Love the weapon for the price no complaints here.
